Diabetes Class
Faith Community Nursing is offering a unique free diabetes class Everyone with Diabetes Counts, a program that encourages small lifestyle changes while learning about your diabetes and they way it affects your health. Learn how to manage diabetes through better nutrition and physical activity. It is open to those 65 years of age or older and a Medicare beneficiary, diagnosed with Type II diabetes or pre-diabetes.
The class needs Medicare beneficiaries to sign up and then anyone with diabetes or pre-diabetes can
be part of the class. Some of the topics covered will be: What is Diabetes? Diabetes Medicines, Herbs and More. Eyes, Teeth, Toes, and Feet – what you need to know.
Free – 6 weekly, 2 hour classes from 6 – 8 PM
Where- Woodlawn is providing a classroom space in Hutchinson Hall
